Originally from Glasgow, Andy studied Consumer Product Design at Edinburgh Napier University and then a Masters in Interdisciplinary Design at Edinburgh Napier University. Keen and passionate about manufacturing in Britain, Andy keeps his designs simple while experimenting with materials and pushing them to their limits. Snug currently stocks Andy’s Sea Defence Lamp from a series which includes shelves, a stool and a table. Sea Defence is a beautiful and functional collection of furniture bringing together the sculptural, strong and iconic nature of sea defences, creating elegant, usable functional pieces of furniture.
