Louisa Taylor - Pots and SpoonsLouisa Taylor - Ceramics Louisa Taylor graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2006 with a Masters degree in Ceramics & Glass and received a Development Award from the Crafts Council in 2008. Alongside making ranges of functional porcelain ware from her studio in London, Louisa is a lecturer in ceramics at the University of Brighton and consults as a freelance designer for industry, including concept development and colour consultancy. Snug stocks Louisa’s range of pots and spoons and matching jugs which are hand-thrown in porcelain. Each pot and jug are glazed inside and around the rim on the outside; the throwing marks also form part of the tactility of the surface. Each pot has an accompanying small porcelain spoon which has a matching splash of glaze on the tip. The coloured glazes range from delicate greens, pinks and greys to more vibrant mustards and lime greens. The pots and spoons range from tiny to large and the jugs range from small to large.
