Sara Flynn - Porcelain VesselsSara Flynn - Ceramics Sara Flynn makes hand-thrown ceramic vessels, working exclusively with porcelain since 1998. She works from her home studio near Leap in West Cork, Ireland with her husband Stuart Poole who develops all of the glazes used on the pieces, an important part of her work. Sara’s work is concerned with a love for the process of throwing, an ongoing relationship with porcelain and a fascination with the theme of the vessel, in both literal and abstracted interpretations. Her work features in public collections including the Art Institute of Chicago and the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin. Sara also exhibits widely in Ireland, the UK and internationally in both public galleries and at events such as Ceramic Art London and Collect
