Sarah Thirlwell - Large Curved VesselSarah Thirlwell - Turning Working from her studio/ workshop in Cheshire, Sarah Thirlwell challenges perceptions of the traditional craft of woodturning by harnessing this process to make very contemporary vessels, bowls and jewellery in a range of different designs. Mainly turning FSC graded plywood, Sarah layers this with recycled and reclaimed materials such as yoghurt pots, vending cups, fridge door linings and reclaimed acrylic in a range of colours. Sarah has recently developed a new series utilising reclaimed leather.
